Our law firm’s social responsibility

Our mission is to provide our clients with the services they need, respect our employees and empower them to produce their best work, minimise our operational footprint and contribute to society.

We understand corporate social responsibility (CSR) as covering all these aspects.

Our CSR programme underpins our aim to improve as a law firm, as an employer and as a responsible corporate citizen.

Social responsibility goal number one : Diversity

At CROCE & Associés SA, we support diversity. We firmly believe that our differences are an asset. They make us stronger. By favouring diversity within our company, we can create more innovative solutions and help our employees fulfil their potential.

Excellent legal practitioners can be found in all environments, and we recruit staff from a wide range of backgrounds.

Our policy applies to all areas of working life, and we are committed to providing a positive working environment where people are treated equally regardless of race, colour, age, sex, marital status, religion, sexual orientation, disability, nationality or membership of any political party or trade union.

In return, we expect all our staff to treat each other with honesty and respect, and we do not accept discrimination.

Social responsibility goal number two: Pro bono work and commitment to the community

We recognised that the privilege of practising law is accompanied by a responsibility to use our skills to help those in need.

Through our voluntary work, we help people rebuild their lives or make a fresh start, and we strive to achieve the same level of excellence across all the cases we handle.

Our programme focuses on five areas:

  • Asylum and immigration;
  • The environment;
  • Children and families;
  • Start-ups;
  • Charities and NGOs.

As well as giving our time, we also make regular donations to charities and philanthropy projects.

Social responsibility goal number three : sustainable development

At CROCE & Associés SA, we are committed to doing all we can to walk softly on this earth.

We are reducing our environmental impact in a number of ways, including:

  • Minimising and recycling waste (recycling paper, glass and aluminium, printing documents double-sided, etc.);
  • Saving energy (LED lighting, not leaving computers on standby, adjusting room temperatures, etc.);
  • Preventing pollution (car-sharing, recycling batteries and ink cartridges, using electronic communications, etc.).

What makes us different? We are sensitive to cultural diversity essential to success in dealing with parties from different jurisdictions.
